Handycat’s participation at CUIDA 2026 was a highly rewarding experience that allowed us to share knowledge, present our solutions and connect with professionals committed to improving health and social care services. Over two inspiring days, the event became a meeting point for discovering new trends, creating valuable connections and discussing the future of person-centred care.
For us, CUIDA 2026 was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate how sensory innovation can make a real difference in enhancing wellbeing across a wide range of care environments.
OmiVista and PROTAC® take centre stage
Throughout the exhibition, visitors had the opportunity to discover some of the innovative solutions that form part of the Handycat portfolio. Among them, OmiVista attracted significant interest thanks to its ability to create interactive, engaging and meaningful experiences tailored to different user needs.
Through live demonstrations, healthcare and social care professionals were able to see how OmiVista encourages participation, cognitive stimulation, motivation and social interaction. Its versatility makes it a valuable tool for a variety of settings, including care homes, therapy centres, hospitals and educational environments.
PROTAC® products also played an important role at our stand. Designed around the principles of proprioceptive stimulation, these solutions continue to demonstrate their value in supporting sensory regulation, relaxation and emotional wellbeing.
Sensory innovation and person-centred care
One of the highlights of our participation was the presentation delivered by Francesc Bargalló, entitled “Sensory Innovation and Person-Centred Care: OmiVista as a Tool for Wellbeing”.
The session focused on the growing importance of incorporating non-pharmacological approaches that complement traditional care practices through a more human, respectful and personalised perspective.
Today, more and more care organisations are seeking innovative tools that improve quality of life, promote active participation and provide meaningful experiences tailored to individual needs. OmiVista is a clear example of how technology can support these goals while helping professionals deliver more engaging and person-centred care.
Building connections and sharing experiences
Beyond the products and demonstrations, CUIDA 2026 provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas with professionals from across the sector, learn about inspiring projects and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing care services today.
These conversations are essential for helping us continue to develop solutions that respond to the real needs of organisations, professionals and the people they support.

At Handycat, we would like to thank everyone who visited our stand, attended our presentation or took the time to speak with our team during the event.
Our participation at CUIDA 2026 reinforces our commitment to sensory innovation and to developing solutions that support a more human, participatory and person-centred approach to care.
